Before Care
Please see below for things to avoid before coming in for your Microblading or Lamination appointment
No Waxing at least a week before appointment.
Why? Your skin becomes thin and rubbery after waxing. This will result in poor healed results
No Alcohol 48 hrs prior to appointment
Alcohol promotes excessive bleeding which will push out the ink deposited and therefore give poor results.
Avoid taking medications that promote bleeding at least 3-5 days prior to appt
Medications such as Aspirin, Niacin, Vitamin E, Ibuprofen, and Omega 3 promote bleeding which makes for a difficult procedure.
Avoid Caffeine intake 48hrs prior to procedure
Caffeine can thin your blood resulting in increased bleeding during your procedure.
No chemical peels, facial creams, serums that contain Retinol or Retin-A 2 weeks prior to appt
These items promote exfoliation of the skin that will result in thin skin
No Botox at least 4 weeks prior to appt
Botox takes several weeks to settle. We want to complete a treatment on a client who's Botox has already settled.
